7 years Criminal History Research (State and/or Local County - All jurisdictions per Social Security Locator and residence history) 

Confirm social security number by electronically matching information provided by applicant against records available to the Social Security Administration (SSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Verifiy highest education level obtained and certification received 

Conduct credit checks in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Credit checks are conducted through one of the three major credit agencies (Trans Union/Equifax/Experian).  

Conduct Department of Motor Vehicle driving record checks of any individual who will be required to operate a motor vehicle in connection with the organization's need, to include personal or rental vehicle on company’s behalf, at any time.

Contact former employers, supervisors, and co-workers to verify previous employment and to ascertain information to help determine organizational compatibility.

Conduct Federal criminal searches; report information from federal district courts pertaining to federal offenses.  

Conduct National Criminal Database Search to uncover existing crime rerecords nationwide.

Search civil case dockets for cases filed in the Civil, Law, and Domestic Relations/Child Support divisions. 

Conduct Federal Sex Offender registry checks.
